Pomona, Chevy’s 2014 race programs are as varied as ever.
After becoming the first woman to win an
NHRA Pro Stock drag racing event in 2012
(and going on to win three more), Chevrolet
racer Erica Enders-Stevens followed it up with
two more wins and sixth in points in 2013.

influenced by what we were doing in
racing with carbon and some of the
engine technology,” he explains. “Now, with
the C7, there’s a whole slew of new things
that came out of the C6 racing program

car. And we’re taking that next step up the
ladder by putting the C7.R on the race track
and seeing what we learn from that.”

Chevrolet will continue to supply its Indy 500-winning turbocharged,
direct-injection, 2.2-liter V6 to several teams in the IndyCar Series,
including reigning champs Scott Dixon and Target Chip Ganassi Racing.

The Gen- 6 Chevrolet SS heads into its second season of NASCAR
Sprint Cup competition, having secured Chevy the Manufacturers’
Championship and Jimmie Johnson his sixth Drivers’ title in 2013.
NASCAR CAMpINg WORLD TRUCK SERIES
Big news for 2014 is a face-lifted Chevrolet Silverado that
looks a lot like the truck in your local dealership, but will still
deliver the Truck Series’ trademark frantic on-track action.
CONTINENTAL TIRE SpORTSCAR CHALLENgE
As the most track-capable Camaro ever built, the new Z/28,
gets ready to hit dealers, Stevenson Motorsports will be
racing a pair in the highly-competitive Continental GS class.
pIRELLI WORLD CHALLENgE
GM’s Cadillac brand takes centerstage, with its high-performance
CTS-V Coupe successfully taking on pure-bred sports cars such
as the Audi R8 and Porsche 911 in the sprint-based series.

In June, Corvette Racing takes its C7.Rs to France hoping to add to its
tally of seven class wins in the world’s most prestigious endurance race.

NHRA MELLO YELLO DRAg RACINg SERIES
In 2013, Chevy’s Camaro won the most races in
the ultra-close Pro Stock class, but fell short of
a drivers’ title. The likes of Greg Anderson,
Jason Line (LEFT) and Erica Enders-Stevens
will be looking to put that right in 2014.
