“Our world-class racing program underscores
our commitment to the SRT road cars”
here certainly is never a dull moment
in our industry. Looking ahead to 2014,
we assure you that the SRT (Street and
Racing Technology) brand will pick up
even more speed, on and off the track.
Entering our third calendar year as a
standalone brand within Chrysler Group,
this is the most exciting time to be in
the high performance vehicle and
Starting with our flagship car on the track,
the SRT Viper GTS-R will compete at the
upcoming Rolex 24 At Daytona, the first
race in the new TUDOR United SportsCar
Championship. The combination of the
ALMS and Grand-Am series will without
doubt feature the top race tracks and most
competitive set of GT cars and teams
we’ve seen in a long time – maybe ever.
Our two-car SRT Motorsports team
continues to grow and get stronger. We’ve
had great tests over the last few months
to show how stable and consistently our
Viper GTS-R platform performs. Getting our
first race win last season at Road America
was great and we’re looking forward to an
exceptionally entertaining year in 2014.
We introduced the SRT Viper GT3-R
last summer and our first privateer owner,
Ben Keating, will debut his car at Daytona
in the GT Daytona class. Ben is no
stranger to road racing. He captured the
SRT Viper Cup championships in 2011
and 2012 piloting a Viper ACR-X and
now moves up to the next biggest stage.
Ben was first in line to purchase an SRT
Viper GT3-R from Riley Technologies in
2013. He plans to compete full-time with
primary co-driver Jeroen Bleekemolen.
Our world class road racing program
continues to underscore our commitment
to the SRT road cars. We continue to enjoy
working within our low-volume process
with the SRT Viper to create some
incredible vehicles that are truly special.
We recently introduced the Competition
Blue exterior color and are continuing the
trend of unique, low-volume builds with
the introduction of the 2014 SRT Viper
Time Attack special edition package and
the Anodized Carbon special edition
package on the 2014 SRT Viper GTS model.
Our business model with the Viper
continues to evolve following its return to
Tthe supercar market in 2013. Since the
Viper was introduced in 1992, fewer than
30,000 cars have been built – showing
just how exclusive our flagship American-built performance machine has become.
With two models, expanding exterior and
interior options and new special edition
packages, the future for our low-volume
Viper continues to look bright.
As with the Viper, our full SRT product
lineup marches to a different beat for
a different, more exclusive set of
customers. We continue to learn about
this market, never letting up and always
looking to the future to continue tuning
the performance vehicles we have while
also exploring new avenues.
In 2014 look for more news from SRT –
but only when the time is right for us to
share. We may not show our hand at the
typical events, but be assured we have big
plans for the brand and our future products.
As always, stay tuned to driveSRT.com
for all news and happenings from SRT.
